Conference Ethnographies of High Education: researching and reflecting “at home” provides platform for the presentation and sharing of ethnographic research concerning the issues of policy, positionality, engagement in higher education and heterogeneity of the field of higher education (research).

Conference will be accompanied by methodological workshop on ethnographic effects of studying higher education.

Conference will bring together scholars in the field from around the world and will be focused rather on intensive disscusions in small groups supplemented by keynote lectures by Paul Trowler, Susan Wright and Wesley Shumar (see preliminary programme).

Conference is jointly organised by Centre for Higher Education Studies, Prague, Institute of Sociology of Academy of Sciences of CR and University of Pardubice.
